The rectangular connectors of the heavy|mate C146A series are characterized by the following features:

• Connectors are intermateable and interchangeable with all third-party products according to standard norm

• Contact inserts available with 3, 4, 10 and 16 pins

• Rated current 16 A

• Rated voltage up to 400 V

The connectors of the heavy|mate C146 A series may be engaged or disengaged under voltage, but not under current. If the connectors are used as plug and socket devices, the current shall be limited to 10% of the rated current.

Low and high profile housings can be used for 10-pole and 16-pole inserts.
